Feather Elle is a lifestyle brand and design house founded by artist Tarrica Wiley, a Southern Black woman with a love of color and a curiosity about the world.
Through original, hand-drawn patterns, Feather Elle brings art into everyday life—beginning with pieces for the home and a vision that reaches into fashion, textiles, and beyond.
Finding my way back
Creativity has always been part of who I am. But somewhere along the way, I became more concerned with meeting expectations than expressing myself. I made less room for the colors, ideas, and possibilities that once came naturally.
After my paternal grandmother passed away, I began finding my way back.
A dream featuring a hummingbird became a meaningful connection to her memory and the encouragement she gave me. It reminded me to make room for my gifts and trust what God had placed within me.
That hummingbird became the symbol of Feather Elle—a reminder of love, possibility, and the legacy I hope to build.
A Southern perspective. A world of inspiration.
My Southern roots shape the way I see beauty: expressive, welcoming, and full of personal history. Travel opens that perspective further, inviting me to notice unfamiliar landscapes, architecture, colors, and ways of living.
I bring those observations into my drawing practice, where flowers, birds, organic shapes, and bold geometry become original patterns.
The result is the Feather Elle approach: modern, graphic, and chic, with expressive color and an independent spirit.

I believe the pieces we bring into our lives can tell a story about who we are.
A patterned pillow can bring personality to a favorite room. A textile can become the starting point for something entirely your own. Color can give you permission to be a little more expressive.
Every Feather Elle collection begins with artwork and grows into possibilities for everyday living.
Our debut home collection, The Blossoming Hour, celebrates growth, individuality, and the beauty of becoming. Its florals and rhythmic geometric prints mark the opening of this chapter.
Creating a legacy
My hope is to build something my family can be proud of—and, as Feather Elle grows, help open doors for other minority creatives.
This brand carries my grandmother’s encouragement forward. It also carries my belief that our gifts deserve room to develop, and that beginning again can lead us somewhere beautiful.
